Air Temperature: 6 Degrees                    Time 7.20 am

River companion

Considerably ‘warmer’ I told the guys as I headed out for the river…to which I was met with a laughing retort – ‘Yay! 6 Degrees …. Mega hot!’

Well…a whole 8 degrees warmer than yesterday – could feel it too. The air felt warmer and fingers didn’t need gloves. The riverbank was certainly more inviting and felt more ‘alive’ than yesterday too. Birds sang and a Dartmoor pony strolled over to watch my mad antics.

Clearly bemused by watching me afterwards she followed me along the path back to the car…perhaps interested in what I was going to get up to next?!

Felt really lovely being accompanied by her…she didn’t ‘have’ to walk with the yampy dogs and me…she chose to. And there was a lovely connection of unspoken camaraderie… a shared moment in ‘the journey’ however brief.

Funny really…what magic you attract…just by being ‘yourself’

Enjoy your journey X
