Full spate…energy!

Full spate…energy!

No Snow today – wind blown all away and sounds like our snow hit the Midlands hard… unusual to be in sun and ‘mist’ with huge chunk of country covered in snow – usually the other way round!

Made for a sunshine swim…all be it in an eddy as the Dart was in full spate. Kayakers galore but don’t know how they dare – the speed of the water was ferocious (says she… but I did stay near the waters edge within reach of obliging tree branches!)

Lots of ‘energy’ and much needed to wash away dross. On my mind a certain ten year old being told he ‘wasn’t worthy to be a son…’ what do you do?… a time when it is a challenge not to re-act and rather to be mindful…hard to for a 10 year old to ‘find the positive’ when he is at the brunt of such a projection…

Needless to say…we found it… and the reason I am wanting to share this is for those of us who have perhaps buried similar hurts and maybe even still holding onto them. It is a known fact, that when it comes to dream building, internalised negative perceptions of ‘Self’ hold us back from realising our dreams… they lead to fear and self sabotage. Those self doubts and dead weight emotions have gotta go!

I sent a message later… and now I am wanting to say a similar one to you…

‘…you are amazing just as you are! If other people make you feel sad and rubbish inside… you stand up straight and tall and remember that. It isn’t you that is not worthy… it is their behaviour towards you that sucks and you don’t have to accept that! You can choose to feel very proud of who you are – every day – you can choose to be happy being you…’
