Soul Excavation: Do you feel as though there is something that you’re here to do, be or to express? Does something keep nagging at you that you should or could be doing ‘it’ ? Are you unsure what this is? Does this then lead to a feeling of frustration or dissatisfaction, or worse, do you make it mean something detrimental about you or about your life?
Lots of spiritual paths speak of Soul searching, allowing your inner purpose or soul expression to be identified and given the space to surface. This in itself can lead to more frustration however, when, despite all you’re efforts it doesn’t appear to happen. Perhaps you’ve tried countless ways, but still the magic ‘it’ remains elusive. Which in turn leads to more frustration…
Perhaps one of the most common misconceptions is that you are looking for something out there and feeling that you have to be something more in order to fulfil or embody a soul expression. The raw truth is that you are ‘it’ already. Right here and right now. The reason that you feel this isn’t the case, IS the very energy that you have to release and remove so that you get to see and experience what lies beneath it.
In other words; see and be you.
Excavation helps, but only from a position of acceptance that you are complete and whole already and then the excavation is part of you clearing away the old outmoded thoughts and perceptions that are keeping your light hidden. This takes courage and patience with yourself as you stand prepared to release old frameworks and ideas that perhaps you’ve invested a lot of resources into creating. Letting these go can prove a challenge for the ego and the logical masculine mind and self judgement can lead to procrastination … oh the ego can rip you to pieces for daring to be different!
You have to remind yourself that these things were perfect for you in the past, but they no longer serve you now…you are growing, blossoming and its all part of natural cycles.Seeds have to be destroyed to produce the seedling else they remain as potential encased in a hard shell forever.
So you look with curiosity into your life, you release old programs and perceptions and you reconnect to what made your heart sing as a dream, or when you were a child, or what inspires you within key figures you admire…these resonate with your soul because you embody a similar message, you have a similar purpose…and that expression naturally wants to grow and blossom. Its what nature does best, grows…
So why not brain storm on paper what makes your heart sing? What people you most admire and why? And observe with curiosity the self judgments and limiting beliefs that arise when you do so. And remind yourself, through a non logical thought brainstorm what you life looks like when you are fulfilled and embodying your Soul self. What is looks like NOW, not what it could look like. In the quantum field, you already exist as this, you are this. The way forward is to align and live your authentic self with perseverance and practice. You don’t have to believe in order to receive…
