Brain Defrag

Brain Defrag with a cold and dull start to the day…bitter actually. Temperature read -4 but with the chill factor from the wind in truth it must have been considerably colder. The ground frozen to granite, not EXACTLY inviting one to go for a pleasant river swim. Even the birds were subdued…after being so vocal for the last few days…they were noticeably quiet…

‘poor things…’ I found myself thinking…’bet their beaks are frozen together!’

Indeed my hands and face felt numb.

Not so yampy dogs who took usual delight in racing round like ‘id-jits’ chasing the wind…

So what thoughts?

Umm…Just a cold but calm day…A day for reflection without allowing emotions to go crazy and create a swamp. A good day to ‘brain defrag’ (whilst the ground is frozen solid)…on paper and so keep the channels open for when the temperature rises again (and your roots can bring new growth)  both physically and metaphorically…

It’s a good reflective practice…you never truly know what ‘gems’ will be revealed when you pick up a pen and simply start to write…

Namaste
