Namaste

‘Namaste.’ Mindfulness is not something you pick up and put down, neither is KaiAmea, not if you want the best out of it. Rather it’s a daily practice…one that will give you support and guidance as you face any challenges that life may throw at you. Probably one of the main facets of this is non-judgement. Not judging or condemning yourself when you find old thought patterns or self critical thoughts sneaking in… and neither judging others. Everyone has a ‘story’ and an emotional history that has lead to the display of their current behaviours. You may not resonate with their behaviour towards others or that behaviour directed at you, but you can see through these to the ‘light’ within – Namaste.

MYnd Space meditations provide tools that can help you stay calm and balanced during stressful situations and challenging relationship dynamics.

Pine Forest

Misty start at the river today – mysterious and magical… after swim walked further downstream and found something that always makes me feel repulsed…and if not careful, judgemental of the human race! The river littered with plastic and tin cans. Sadly it’s a regular occurrence…pulling things out of the river- an array of objects from alive sheep…to dead sheep…to rubbish.

Why is it that I always come across it after I have got back dressed??

Anyways today played fisherman with a big stick…much to yampy dogs delight. Putting into practice every mindful technique that I could think of to focus on some good. Came up with placing thoughts on the positive – the fact that there is an increase in public awareness of the plight of the sea, especially after the phenomenal ‘Blue Planet’ series. Hopefully some of that awareness will extend to the rivers too.

If anyone is interested there is a great free course on Marine Conservation on the United For Wildlife web site.

And…if you have been a Blue Planet fan – spare a thought for our rivers too!
