‘Perfection?’
Perfection: Damp start to the day. One of those dull days with little light that can make it a challenge at times to feel uplifted. Headed for the river with relish needing to ‘wash’ off the tiredness that was threatening to take a hold. I looked at one of the yampy dogs…who has decided to go grey… great…she is only a year old and yet looks much older now…A Spaniel cross her white nature shining through. Raised an issue in me…I had wanted a brown dog!
A reminder perhaps that firstly ‘you get what you need in life’…and it isn’t always what you ‘think’ you want’ and also what is often perceived by the brain as ‘imperfect’ is actually perfect. Whether that be something we are criticising about ourselves…or in this instance this morning…what I was projecting at my dog.
She looked at me with half a wag no doubt catching the energy of my gaze. It felt like she was saying ‘don’t send me away…’ Smiling I laughed and pretended to chase her along the river bank…she did the hundred mile an hour wall of death run…turning this way and that…pandemonium.
Boys laughing…
Perfect.
Perfect in light of any perceived ‘imperfection.’
So…embrace who you are…embrace experiences… and allow life.
Namaste
Enjoy your journey X
