Pond Skaters

Late swim today and the world was more awake because of that. Watched these guys after my dip. They were really fascinating and I found it mindfully absorbing observing them interacting in their world.

I had just disturbed the water – shattering their equilibrium – with my swim. As the water settled more and more of them started to venture back out… not quitting despite the ‘ground’ seeming to move too fast for a while and as such, having been ‘knocked’ off their feet.
