Sea Swim

Sleet on the moor and snow-bows which were tempting as we passed the river. But no stopping there today, the sea was calling… headed to our favourite spot, which involves a coastal walk to reach, perfect for the prospect of a swim, as you are really hot by the time you hit the beach.

As usual we had the place to ourselves, save for a few cormorants looking on like sentinels.

We did some pebble plunging- for those of you who haven’t done this…throwing pebbles into the sea is a great way of literally throwing away energy that you no longer need – the salt water cleansing and transmuting all that pent up energy… The technique is included in MYnd Space meditations/visualisations – but it is great doing it physically too!

But note to self: Be aware that if you have a yampy dog present she tries to ‘retrieve’ the thrown pebbles and looks stunned to find herself having to swim cold water… Hilarious!
