Really unreal morning today…with hurricane Ophelia passing by the winds were picking up and although still cloudy and dull the subdued light was yellow…a promise of the sun that has come out later this morning perhaps but at the time altogether weird, like something from a sci-fi film.

Eerie mist and fog as set off for the river – perfect for a Friday 13th. Maybe some are nervous about such days…but I love Friday 13th they always feel auspicious and appeals to the witch in me I guess.

Fallen leaves swirling on the water as I swam, berries turning red on the Holly tree by the river… and my yampy dog ‘blackberrying’… a typical Autumnal day.
